Nikki Haley Faces Scrutiny Over Donations from Reid Hoffman
Nikki Haley was confronted about her political action committee (PAC) donations from Reid Hoffman, an associate of Jeffrey Epstein, during a campaign event in Iowa. The incident has sparked controversy and raised questions about her campaign funding sources.
Confrontation at Campaign Event
On Tuesday, Charles Downs, a contributor to Loomer Unleashed, questioned Haley at a Waukee, Iowa event regarding the $250,000 donation her Stand for America PAC received from Hoffman. Downs specifically asked if Haley would return the donation in light of Epstein-related documents.

Reid Hoffman’s Connection to Jeffrey Epstein
Hoffman had visited Epstein’s Caribbean island, Little St. James, known as “pedophile island,” in 2014 after Epstein’s conviction for procuring a child for prostitution. This connection has led to increased scrutiny of any political figures receiving donations from him.
Haley’s Response and Actions
Rather than addressing the issue, Haley stopped her activities and was escorted out through the back door. Laura Loomer, owner of Loomer Unleashed, highlighted this in a post on X along with a video of the incident. Loomer emphasized that Hoffman is also funding E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against Donald Trump.

Loomer’s Confrontation Strategy
Since the announcement of a contest by Loomer offering a $250 prize for confronting Haley, she has not been taking questions from the audience at her events. Following Downs’ question, Haley’s staff threatened to have him arrested if he did not leave.

Reactions from Other Candidates
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy commented on the incident by stating that if Haley cannot handle challenging questions domestically, she should not represent the country abroad.
If Nikki Haley can’t talk to people who challenge her here in the United States, she has no business representing our country abroad – period. https://t.co/1rN9c0wS6l
